I know what it’s like to be happy because your life is beautiful and what it’s like to stay happy when it’s not.

That’s why it’s so easy for me to lead with my humanity instead of my highlight-reel. I’m not interested in the carefully packaged version of you, or inspired to peacock with a polished version of me. I didn’t get to be this strong, resourceful, happy or wise because my path was straight-forward or easy.

To build a muscle, you use it so much that it begins to break down. In the rebuilding process, muscles come back bigger, better and stronger. Well honey, I’m a muscle and I’m here to tell you, you can too.
